Yes or No Oracle

I’m Anne, once a village stargazer, now bound by stars to reveal your fate.
Whisper your question, and my cards will speak — yes or no.

How the Yes or No Oracle Works

Hold your question in your mind — one clear question, the kind that can be answered with a simple yes or no. Type it above, or whisper it and click the deck. One of my cards will turn, and with it comes your answer: yes or no, plainly spoken, the way I have always given guidance.

My deck is not like other decks. Each of its twenty-three cards was drawn under a different sky — Thorn of Fate, Blossom of Love, The Oracle’s Whisper and their kin — and each carries its own manner of answering. If an answer sits uneasily, ask again across several cards and listen for the pattern; that is how readings have always been done. You can also ask a favorite card directly.

The oracle is free, instant, and asks nothing of you — no sign-ups, no accounts. It has been here for many years, and the same seekers return to it day after day. Take the answer as guidance to weigh with your own good sense, not as a chain around your choices.

Choose Your Oracle

Every question has its instrument. These are mine — pick the one that suits the moment:

  • Yes or No Pen — the quickest of all. The floaty pen tilts and your yes or no appears. For decisions that cannot wait.
  • Moon Orb — my oldest companion, filled with moon energy. It shows tonight's real moon and answers by its light — clear when the moon is full, veiled when it is new.
  • Accurate Yes or No Oracle — my card deck in its full ritual, for seekers who like to draw several cards and read the pattern.
  • Yes or No Tarot — a traditional Rider–Waite tarot draw, when you want the old cards and their meanings behind your answer.
  • Yes No Maybe Candle — for questions where fate itself hesitates. The flame answers yes, no, or maybe.
  • What Is He Thinking and What Is She Thinking — love tarot for the questions a yes or no cannot hold.
  • Fortune Cookie — a small folded fortune when you want a message rather than an answer.
  • Yes No Girl — the young stargazer I once was, answering as she did in the village square. Her story is told here.

Who Is Anne?

Long before this place existed, I was Annelise — the girl in the village square who answered any question with two words. They called me the yes or no girl, and the answers were right often enough that word travelled. When word travels too far, accusations follow, so I took to the wild and made my peace with the stars instead. The cards came later, one for each lesson the sky taught me.

This site is my window. It is small, hand-made, and I like it that way. If you are curious about the older stories, wander into the Arcanum Annex, or read a little more about me. To follow the sky as I do, ask my moon orb — it keeps tonight's moon in view.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does the yes or no oracle work?
A: Hold one clear question in your mind, type it in or whisper it, and click the deck. A card turns and gives you a plain yes or no answer. For a deeper reading, ask the same question across several cards and weigh the pattern.

Q: Is the yes or no oracle really free?
A: Yes — every oracle on this site is free, with no sign-ups and no accounts. It has been that way for years and will stay that way.

Q: Can I ask the oracle about love?
A: Love is what most seekers ask about. For yes or no matters of the heart, ask the cards or the pen; for what someone may be feeling, try the What Is He Thinking or What Is She Thinking love tarot.

Q: How accurate is the yes or no oracle?
A: The cards speak clearly, but I will tell you what I told the villagers: an oracle is a lantern, not a map. Take the answer as guidance and weigh it with your own common sense.

Q: How many questions can I ask?
A: As many as you like. Many seekers visit daily — a small ritual before the day begins. If two cards disagree, a third often settles the matter.
